SCHOOL NA SCAM

I learnt I was going to be a father in November 2018, that was doing my I.T period. I couldn't really sum up what laid ahead of me but I knew it wasn't going to be easy.

My initial thought was to suspend studies and focus on the baby's arrival as well as the wellbeing of the mother.

School resumed in january but I couldn't go as there wasn't money to return back talk more of paying my fees. I was at home for close to three months. My mates in school had moved on concluding I wouldn't resume again.

Pst. Mbakara Obong as well as the mother of my beautiful daughter encouraged me to just wrap up my final year. I can't really recall how the money came but I was able to pay my fees and I resumed school.

I struck a COVENANT with God promising to be diligent in my service to Him while He provides my weekly transport so I can attend church on Sunday and also tend to the mother of my daughter...God did His part perfectly well and I did mine too.

Resuming school few weeks to exams wasn't funny...I was in class but my mind was always at home. I hardly ask or answer questions in class...I just had a mental picture of what my daughter would look like and that motivated me all through.

Project came. There was no money anywhere. I prayed and cried every night. I hardly slept.

I was opportuned to listen to a song "IYANU"  by IBK (I think y'all should listen to it) and I drew strength from the song every minute of the day as it was on repeat throughout my final year.

God had a way of providing for my daily meals. My faith - level was so high, I just knew God cannot fail.

On this particular morning, I was led to reach out to two persons, One was a facebook friend I have been following for years and the other was the pastor of our family church back in lagos.

Through them, I was able to get money for my project. My first experiment in the lab was a total waste of money, time & resources. I almost dumped the entire work. Maybe some other time, I'll share how God helped me scale through.

To be honest, I don't know what I wrote in my examination but I kept on repeating I won't fail. There was a course the lecturer refused me writing because she claimed I didn't have up to 75% attendance and that led to me having an extra year.

I should be resuming school this coming session but I don't know if it'll be possible except God makes a way and I believe He will.

PS: There are still so many experience i'll love to share with you that happened in my final year...I'll do that someday!

The story continues...
